Main Course
Wild sablefish is seared and basted in a honey garlic glaze with sesame and red pepper flakes, served over rice with broccoli roasted in the same sauce.

Ingredients
(2) 6 oz portions Wild Sablefish (Black Cod)
4 cups broccoli
3 tbsp olive oil or other neutral cooking oil
4 tbsp coconut aminos, reduced sodium soy sauce, or tamari
4 tbsp honey
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced or grated
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
cooked white rice for serving
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons olive oil, coconut aminos, honey, toasted sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
Toss the broccoli in ½ of the sauce until coated. Place on the parchment paper lined baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, then remove and keep warm.
Thaw sablefish filets and pat it dry. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium high heat with 1 tbsp olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the sablefish with the skin facing up. Sear for 4 minutes and then flip, skin side down.
Add the remaining sauce to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and the sauce is reduced to about half. Baste the fish with the sauce from the skillet.
Serve hot with rice and roasted broccoli.
Enjoy!
