Harvested from the Gulf of Alaska under the industry’s strictest sustainability practices, these premium scallops are meticulously hand-shucked, cleaned, and boxed before being rapidly deep-frozen within four hours of capture. This process preserves their delicate flavor and perfect texture, ensuring the highest quality from sea to table.

Our scallops are classified as ""dry""—never treated with water or preservatives—allowing their pure, natural taste to shine. These prized Weathervane Scallops are exceptionally versatile and cook quickly, making them perfect for grilling, sautéing, pan-searing, or roasting. Whether featured in a sophisticated seafood dish or a quick weeknight meal, they offer an indulgent dining experience with every bite.

We source our scallops exclusively from three dedicated boats—the F/V Ocean Hunter, the F/V Provider, and the F/V Polar Sea—ensuring the highest standards of care and sustainability throughout the entire process.

We have a $125 minimum order on frozen seafood to guarantee exceptional shipping quality.

Each order is carefully packed in a high-performance insulated box with dry ice, ensuring your seafood stays frozen solid from our door to yours.

Storage: Your seafood should be kept frozen until you are ready to enjoy it. For best quality, we recommend consuming within 6 months of purchase.

Standard Thaw Method: The safest way to thaw your scallops is under refrigeration. We recommend removing the product from the original packaging, placing it in a plastic bag or on a plate, and allowing it to thaw in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours, or overnight.

If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the vacuum-sealed bag in a bowl of COLD water for 30-45 minutes. Once defrosted, remove from the packaging, rinse gently with cool water in a collander and pat dry.

Keep refrigerated until serving or preparing. We recommend consuming within 2-3 days of defrosting.
