Papa Hugh's Fireball Black Cod

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in small sauce pan, bring to a boil while whisking and then remove from heat and set aside.

  2. Pan-sear the black cod in a skillet over med-high heat, flesh down, in a couple tbsp of sesame oil.

  3. After about 6-7 min, flip the fish and continue cooking for another 3 min, until flaking apart.

  4. Baste the fish with the sauce for the last minute of cooking.

  5. Plate it, then drizzle more sauce (if desired) and top with chopped green onions or chives.
