
Premier Catch Halibut Fish Tacos
1 pound (two 8 oz portions) Wild Pacific Halibut, cut into 1 1/2" strips
Fish Sauce:
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
Juice from 1/2 of a lime
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix in small bowl, set aside.
Fish batter:
1 cup of beer
1 large egg
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp cayenne peper
1 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp pepper
olive oil
Mix beer, egg, flour, mustard, salt and pepper in bowl. Heat oil in large skillet or small fryer. Dip fish in batter and fry until golden brown.
Prepare tacos with warmed flour or corn tortillas, chopped cabbage, sliced avocado and fish sauce. We also topped ours with a mango-salsa from Met Market.
