Grilled Salmon with Summer Fruit Salsa

Ingredients

1 lbs Wild Alaskan King Salmon or Sockeye Salmon (2 x 8 oz) portions
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tspgarlic powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
fresh lemon juice

1 peach, pitted and diced
1 nectarine, pitted and diced
1/2 tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeno, sliced with seeds removed and diced into small pieces
1/4 cup red onion, diced
2-3 tsp lime juice
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Pre-heat grill on med-high heat, approx 500 degrees.
Mix ingredients for the salmon rub in a small bowl.
Place salmon on foil and lightly rub with olive oil. Brush the rub on. Top with a squeeze of lemon juice.
Place salmon on the grill with skin side up and turn the heat down to medium low. Close lid and grill for 3- 4 minutes.
Gently flip the fish so the skin side is down and grill another 4-5 min.
While the salmon is cooking, chop up the fruit and mix in the other salsa ingredients.
Remove salmon from grill, serve with fresh fruit salsa, and enjoy!
