Wild Alaska cod goes from pan to plate in under fifteen minutes, with a golden crust and a tender, flaky center. Patting the fillets completely dry before they hit the hot oil is what helps that crust form. Serve with roasted vegetables, rice or a crisp salad.

Ingredients
4 Wild Alaska Cod fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels (this helps achieve a golden crust).
- Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.

- Place cod fillets in the skillet, presentation side down.

- Transfer cod to plates, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with parsley.
- Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a crisp salad.
