BLT with Grilled Sockeye Salmon
These recipes were created from our passion for seafood, using Premier Catch’s tasty, wild-caught Alaskan Salmon. We love to share them with our friends and family. From our kitchen to yours, here’s one of our favorites!
8oz Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
salt & pepper
4 slices sourdough bread
2 tbsp tzatziki sauce
green leaf lettuce
4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
thinly sliced red onion
Thaw salmon and pat dry.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and spices. Rub onto the salmon.
Grill salmon for 6-7 minutes.
While the salmon cooks, prepare the sandwich ingredients.
Toast the sourdough bread and beginning assembling the sandwich with a spread of tzatziki, sliced green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, crumbled bacon, and the grilled Sockeye Salmon. When adding the salmon, you can either flake it apart with a fork or add the whole filet. Repeat the process with the remaining two slices of bread.
These quantities should make enough for two small sandwiches on 4 slices of sourdough bread.
