Your Favorite Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Premier Catch Canned Albacore Tuna

  • 1 package wide egg noodles

  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (optional to substitute one for fat free version)

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • ½ cup diced white onion

  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

  • ½ cup Italian bread crumbs (optional to substitute for gluten free bread crumbs)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package.

  3. In a large bowl, add the noodles, soup, one cup of cheese, flaked tuna, and veggies. Mix until well combined.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with bread crumbs and remaining cheese.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese bubbles, about 15 - 20 minutes.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
