Pan-Seared Halibut with Avocado Jalapeño Salsa

Ingredients

    • 2 x 8oz Wild Pacific Halibut

    • Olive oil

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp smoked paprika

    • Salt & pepper

    • 1 avocado, cubed

    • ½ jalapeño, diced with seeds removed

    • ½ lime, juiced

    • 2 stalks green onions, diced

    • salt & pepper

    Directions

    1. Thaw halibut and pat dry.

    2. Brush olive oil on each filet and rub a mixture of garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper on each one.

    3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.

    4. Pan-sear the halibut for 4 minutes per side or until the fish flakes apart.

    5. While the halibut cooks, prepare the avocado jalapeño salsa by gently mixing the ingredients together until well combined.

    6. Top the halibut with the avocado salsa.

    7. Serve and enjoy!
