Hot Honey Tuna Melt (Mayo-Free Recipe)

Ingredients

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tbsp hot sauce of your choice

1 tbsp honey

¼ cup chopped red onions

¼ cup chopped celery

2 tbsp chopped fresh dill

2 tbsp chopped green onion

1 tsp chili powder
-
juice of 1 lemon
-
salt & pepper to taste

2 slices sourdough bread

1 tomato, sliced

4 slices cheddar cheese
Directions
Open tuna can and strain.
In a large bowl, combine the tuna, yogurt, hot sauce, chopped red onion, celery, dill, honey, lemon juice, and chili powder. Mix well. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Layer the sourdough bread with sliced cheddar, slices tomatoes, and the tuna mix.
On a heated griddle or panini press, add a little butter or olive oil. Add the sandwich and cook 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
Enjoy immediately!
