A 1.5-pound tray of wild Alaskan spot prawns typically provides about 3 to 4 servings, assuming a standard serving size of 6 to 8 ounces per person.

Large (21/30): 21 to 30 prawns per pound (approx. 35-45 prawns per tray, depending on their size)

XL (U20): Under 20 prawns per pound prawns, (approx. 30 prawns per tray, depending on their size)

Storage: Seafood ordered from Premier Catch should be kept frozen until you are ready to enjoy it. For best quality, we recommend consuming within 6 months of purchase.

Thawing: The safest way to thaw your spot prawns is under refrigeration. We recommend gently rinsing them under cold water and then placing them in a colander over a plate or tray in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours, or overnight. This ensures thawing at safe temperatures.

Keep refrigerated until serving or preparing. We recommend consuming within 1 day of defrosting.

When it comes to seafood, wild-caught from the U.S. is the gold standard. At Premier Catch, we offer only wild, sustainably harvested seafood from the waters of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest — never farmed.

Wild seafood grows in its natural habitat, feeding on a native diet, which leads to leaner, more nutrient-rich fish. Unlike farmed fish, which are often raised in crowded pens and fed processed diets with antibiotics or additives, our seafood is clean, traceable, and free from unwanted chemicals.

By choosing wild American seafood, you’re:

  • Supporting responsible U.S. fisheries and coastal communities
  • Protecting ocean ecosystems through sustainable practices
  • Enjoying superior flavor and nutrition in every bite

Whether you're in Seattle, California, New York, or anywhere in the U.S., our mission is to make it easy to access premium wild-caught seafood delivered directly to your door.

Did you know that nearly 90% of Americans aren’t meeting the recommended seafood intake? According to the USDA, most people are missing out on the proven health benefits of eating seafood — including heart health, brain function, and reduced inflammation.

Nutrition experts recommend eating at least two servings (8 oz) of seafood each week — ideally wild-caught fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids, like salmon, sablefish, halibut, and albacore tuna.

At Premier Catch, we make it easy to get your weekly seafood servings with:

  • Wild-caught, nutrient-dense seafood from Alaska and the Pacific Northwest
  • Flash-frozen portions shipped straight to your door, anywhere in the U.S.
  • Clean, high-protein options with no antibiotics, dyes, or preservatives
