
Premier Catch Simply Seared Alaska Weathervane Scallops
1.25 lbs Alaska Weathervane Scallops
Salt & pepper
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves of smashed garlic
4 chives, chopped (optional)
Rinse and drain the scallops, lay on plate and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper. Heat butter, olive oil and smashed garlic cloves in pan on med-high heat until garlic is fragrant. Place scallops in pan in single layer and cook until browned on one side, approximately 1-2 minutes. Flip the scallops over and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly opaque in the middle, and seared on the outside. Sprinkle with chopped chives. Serve immediately.
